2.Mechanism of Action
Lincosamine antibiotics. Lincomycin belongs to the class of
lincosamines and has a strong effect on gram-positive bacteria,
such as staphylococci, hemolytic streptococci, and pneumococci, and
an inhibitory effect on anaerobic bacteria such as Clostridium
tetani and Bacillus aerogenes; the effect on mycoplasma is weak. It
also has some effect on T. hyodysenteriae and Toxoplasma gondii.
Gram-negative aerobic bacteria are usually not susceptible. If
absorption is rapid but incomplete in animals, the bioavailability
after oral administration in pigs is 20% -50%.Some of the drug is
metabolized in the liver, and unchanged drug and its metabolites
are excreted in bile, urine, and milk.
To solve chronic respiratory disease, colibacillosis, fowl cholera,
infectious serositis, infectious bronchitis and avian influenza,
infectious laryngotracheitis, infectious bursitis, duck plague,
duckling viral hepatitis, muscovy duck "three-week disease". It is
used to treat Gram-positive bacterial infections in chickens, such
as chicken necrotizing enterocolitis. It can also be used for
mycoplasma infection in chickens. Common symptoms: lack of energy,
weight loss, anal paste, screaming during defecation; fat
individuals suddenly died, swollen beard, yellow green loose stool,
fear of cold, head swelling, lacrimation, dyspnea and so on.
4. Dosage And Administration:
Calculated as lincomycin. Mixed drink: for chicken, mix 150 mg with
per liter of water, i.e., 100g of the product is mixed with 600 kg
of water , used for 5-10 days.
