OUR ADVANTAGES
Product Picture Description
All modern microphones are the same as the original microphones. It's just an electrical way instead of a mechanical way. The microphone converts the variable pressure wave in the air into a variable electrical signal. There are five common techniques for this transformation:
Carbon
The oldest and simplest microphone uses carbon dust. This technology was used in the first telephone in history and is still used in some telephones today. There is a thin metal or plastic diaphragm on one side of the carbon dust. When sound waves hit the diaphragm, they compress the carbon dust and change the resistance. By energizing the carbon, the changed resistance will change the amount of current. For more information, see how the phone works.
Dynamic
Dynamic microphones use electromagnetic effects. When the magnet passes through a wire (or coil), the magnet induces an electric current in the wire. In a dynamic microphone, when sound waves hit the diaphragm, the diaphragm moves the magnet, which generates a small current.
